Free will? This phrase has to be one of greatest misnomers there is. Is any choice truly free? As soon as I choose one option, the cost becomes all the other options. Am I free to become a bird? A planet? No, my choices are highly limited to within the boundaries that God has put me. Did I choose my parents? Did I even choose to come into this world? No. When you get right down to it, the choices that I have are few, and have mostly to do with how I spend my time and with whom and the words that I speak. And even these have their limits. Most else is out of my control entirely. And I certainly don't have any choice as to whether I am saved or not. It is by God's sovereign choice that I am saved. Amen!
